倒栽葱的立绘到时第一次见，不过先介绍介绍名为R4-C的这把枪。

南非国防军原来装备的步抢有两种，一种是根据比利时的FN FAL 7.62mm步枪仿制的，称为R1式；

另一种是根据德国的G3式步枪仿制的，称为R2式。

大约在70年代后期，南非利特尔顿工程有限公司对引进的以色列加利尔5.56mm步枪加以改进，研制出了自己的小口径步枪，名为R4C式。
